Preamble and description

Preamble

We the people in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice and insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity do obtain and establish this constitution for the United States of America.

This is an executive summary of the constitution that embodies the ideals of free government. Law enforcement, representative government and equality all expose the values of the establishment of justice. Domestic tranquility is the idea that one can live independently, with relative prosperity (free of poverty) and that we can defend our rights and property. Having a standing military and promoting tariffs to protect our lives and value resources are ways that we can provide for our common defense. Healthcare, education, and countless other programs developed by our federal, state and local government are means to promote the nations general welfare, and finally securing the blessings of liberty means we've free all things lawful.
